Best known for acclaimed flicks like Gamyam, Vedam, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum and Gautamiputra Satakarni, director Krish uplifted the values and morals in Telugu cinema.
Interestingly, K. Vijayendra Prasad, who writes Ranaut's script with Joshi collaborating, has just worked with Ranaut's bête noire Karan Johar, who presented his son Rajamouli's "Bahubali 2: The Conclusion!" The attractive actress will be seen essaying the role of Rani Lakshmibai, the Queen of Jhansi, in the film and we must say that Kangana has dived deep into the skin of her character of her film. Kangana, in a recent interview mentioned that she is taking lessons in horse riding and sword fighting to play the role to perfection.
'She's a queen by nature. "She's a hero", Kangana further said.
"Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi" has definitely got Kangana excited, wherein she will be seen portraying the famed Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. That's a quality I identify with her. "You can not live without your pride as a woman", Kangana told the daily.
"It is not the same film which Ketan Mehta was going to direct. Ketan Mehta and A V Shankar are a different team. So, I consider it a stroke of luck that I'm doing it", she says. "I will focus on being a filmmaker", Kangana told a web portal.
On the home front too, Kangana is prepping up for some changes. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will be playing the lead role in this film. Lakshmibai was an incredible mother and I'm looking forward to portraying this aspect of hers on screen. The actress, before the big launch event, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to seek blessings for her upcoming flick.
