Mother! will be Aronofsky's first film since his 2014 biblical epic Noah, and certainly seems to promise a return to his less holy-themed work like Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream.

Jennifer Lawrence makes some bold movie choices.

The poster features Lawrence herself, painted in an nearly porcelain manner, holding her own heart in outstretched hands while blood trickles down her dress.

Oh it's her own heart. Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson, Ed Harris and Brian Gleeson will also appear in the psychological flick.

If the poster is this unsettling, what on earth is the actual film going to be like?

If you're after a truly disturbing Mother's Day tribute, look no further than Jennifer Lawrence's new movie poster for mother!

Jennifer and Darren went public with their romance in November previous year after they were papped kissing in NY on their way to dinner.

The X-Men: Apocalypse star has dated actor Nicholas Hoult while Darren has a 10-year-old son with ex-fiance Rachel Weisz.

The poster was debuted on Mother's Day Sunday (May 14) on Twitter by the film's writer/director Darren Aronofsky.
