Try Out Nintendo's ARMS During The 'Global Test Punch'

ARMS is the next big title for Nintendo Switch

New Nintendo Direct announced set to focus on ARMS

It will apparently be taking a "deep dive" into ARMS and will include a "bonus" Splatoon 2 trailer at the end. Nintendo has certainly built hype around the title, but as a brand-new IP, plenty remains unknown.

Today's Nintendo Direct presentation for Arms is heavy on specifics, nearly to the point of being overwhelming. However last month Nintendo announced a new neon yellow finish, and it seems that the company is continuing with its neon theme as they have since unveiled new Joy-Con colors themed after Splatoon 2. "This Nintendo Direct presentation offered great reasons why ARMS is flawless for players of all ages, whether they are familiar with fighting games or not".

If you are interested in playing Arms before anyone else, make sure to participate in the online demo event of the game called Arms Global Test Punch. Check out each of the new characters revealed today courtesy of the Nintendo Twitter account. I have too many questions about the game that can not be answered by someone bought and paid for by Nintendo to tell me how great it is.

As promised, Nintendo just held a Direct livestream divulging more details about ARMS ahead of its launch on the Nintendo Switch this Spring.

Byte & Barq is a robotic duo that looks like a patrolman and his puppy companion, who works as a stage-roaming add and Super team-up partner.

If you were wondering what you can actually do when Arms releases for the Nintendo Switch in June, the Nintendo Direct listed all of the multiplayer modes (including online) that will be available. And, there's no telling what other characters might get revealed in the game. All this can be enjoyed with other players either remotely on in local wireless mode. It's up to you to mix and match your arms to fit your play style. In one of the previous trailers for "ARMS", a new character known as the Helix was introduced.
