All eyes are back on Washington D.C.as President Trump has returned from his nine-day trip overseas and as business picks back up following the Memorial Day holiday, Mr. Trump must return to the realities of being president.

"It is my opinion that numerous leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies", Trump tweeted.

While Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle will not be replacing Sean Spicer as press secretary anytime soon, a long-rumored shakeup of the White House Communications team has reportedly begun following Donald Trump's return home.

Trump has been spending a great deal of time on the issue, he said, including discussing it Tuesday morning with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt, and will make an announcement "shortly". He is respected by virtually everyone and is working on programs that will save our country billions of dollars. The intent was to connect Trump's chief national security adviser at the time, Michael Flynn, with Russian military leaders, a person familiar with the discussions told the AP.

President Donald Trump is considering overhauling his White House staff and bringing back top campaign strategists.

But former CIA Director John McLaughlin said if an intel officer attempted what Kushner is accused of it would be considered espionage.

The Monday Fox News report, which Trump retweeted on Tuesday, laid blame on the Russians rather than Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, for discussing the possibility of a communications back channel between the Trump administration and Moscow.

"Whenever you see the words "sources say" in the fake news media, and they don't mention names", Trump wrote, "it is very possible that those sources don't exist but are made up by fake news writers. #FakeNews is the enemy!", Trump tweets.

Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew whose wife Ivanka is one of Trump's five children, is a real estate and media tycoon who was appointed senior White House adviser, with a wide-ranging remit which includes the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Officials said he misled Vice President Mike Pence about whether he and the ambassador had discussed USA sanctions against Russian Federation in a phone call.

The Washington Post and NBC each reported late Thursday that Kushner's interactions with Russian figures were of interest to the FBI, but that this did not mean he was a target of the investigation. "You have to ask, well, who are they hiding the conversation from?" he said on ABC.

Nevertheless, some critics have called for Kushner's security clearance to be revoked, while others say he should temporarily step aside while his ties to Moscow are being reviewed.
