Apple TV 4K to get Dolby Atmos audio in future tvOS update
Apple says, "You can download a local copy of an HD movie, and you might be able to download HDR and Dolby Vision versions, but you can't download a 4K version". Its processing power is faster, allowing apps to be more responsive and functional, and its remote has been revamped ever so slightly to make it a bit easier to navigate content.
The Verge raved about the Apple's 4K simplistic interface, bevy of applications, more cost-efficient 4K HDR movie selections, and the fact that iTunes is upgraded to 4K HDR free of charge.
The Apple TV 4K will begin shipping in the United States today along with 21 other countries.
While overshadowed by the launch of Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) flagship iPhones, the tech giant also unveiled its new and improved Apple TV 4K at its September 12 event, demonstrating how the product has evolved to bring TV viewing into the future. However, users get to access 4K movies and videos for a price. Apple is selling 4K content on iTunes at the same price as HD content, so it's also possible that the company made deals with movie studios that included a restriction on 4K downloads.
The first reviews of the new device, which boasts 32GB of storage for the $179 model and 64GB for $199, are out, and critics say it's flawless for those looking for enhanced picture quality and improved gaming experience. If your home connection speeds are consistently below 25 Mbps, you may not want to invest in the new Apple TV. "It has the same A10X Fusion chip as the iPad Pro in it, which means it's as powerful as some laptops". "That lets you know when you're holding the remote correctly without actually looking at it", he wrote.
If you ask David Carnoy over at CNET that question, he has a simple answer: "Not for most people". Indeed, one of the longstanding complaints surrounding the Apple TV is that it costs significantly more than competing products that, more or less, provide the same exact functionality.
So, who might want an AppleTV 4K? If it's lower than that, Apple devices will automatically lower the quality.

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE is a Fun But Safer Sequel
