Old iPhone Slowing Down? Data Suggests It's All in Your Head

"An update might add new features that use more resources or require more processing power".

While the release of new iPhone updates, such as iOS 11, often cause users to speculate their devices have slowed down, the researchers found that devices running iOS 9, 10 and 11 operated at consistent speeds. This v1.23 update brings some significant improvements.

While you might be fixated on iOS 11.1's new features you need to remember that this is a beta and betas are meant to catch issues before they appear in the final release.

Gender-neutral emojis were confirmed earlier this year following calls to include non-binary characters to represent those who identify as neither fully male nor female.

According to reddit though, it isn't as cut and dried as installing the new version (12.6.3; yes, it's a little confusing) and downloading apps.

This new-old version of the software should work with any official ringtones you've snagged, audiobooks and iTunes U downloads.

Being one of the most popular microblogging site, Twitter has been offering a bunch of new features.

A major company recognizing people who live outside the gender binaries is pretty incredible, but it's a pretty hard process to get new emojis approved.

Also, a similar issue was surfaced in iOS 11 about battery consumption, the user complains that battery does not last longer or better performance decline by half from iOS 10. Apple is now looking for feedbacks from the users around the world, soon they will fix down all the issues regarding the compatibility issues.

New designs which were approved by the Unicode Consortium - an independent standards body for the image-based language - have been made available to iPhone and iPad users in the company's OS 11.1 update.

Other than the above mentioned changes, you shouldn't see nothing more than performance related refinements or bug fixes.

We will have to keep you informed on any more information we get about iOS 11.1, but stay tuned for the beta releases.
