Cameron Maybin wins free tacos for everyone across the nation

Cameron Maybin was thrilled to be the Taco Hero

We all get a taco! On Nov. 1, people can go to any Taco Bell and get a free Doritos Locos taco from 2-6 p.m.

The hardest part will be deciding between Cool Ranch, Nacho Cheese and Fiery. Maybin's golden stolen base is the sixth time that the country won free tacos. I know, all you're probably hearing right now is "free tacos", but there's a method to Taco Bell's madness.

They are offering this promotion because In Game 2 of the World Series, Cameron Maybin stole a base.

Maybin tweeted about the promotion on Wednesday night, following the Astros' 7-6 triumph over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"Maybin came through in the crunch with the stolen base heard 'round the world", Taco Bell says on its website.

He was so excited, in fact, that he gave himself an unwieldy nickname: Steal a Base, Steal a Taco Guy. The most recent steal was when Francisco Lindor of the Cleveland Indians took second base in Game 1 of the World Series previous year.
