Trump Lashes Out At 'FAKE NEWS' Washington Post Over Misleading Photo

Media mistakes intensify debate over fake news
Supporters watch as US President Donald Trump speaks during a rally at the Pensacola Bay Center on December 8, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida. Packed house, many people unable to get in. After receiving the apology, the president then called for Weigel to be fired, but not without contributing his own fake news to the story.
"Fake News CNN made a vicious and purposeful mistake yesterday", Trump tweeted.
Weigl had deleted the tweet after 20 minutes, and apologized for posting the image-but the president still demanded his sacking. I apologize. I deleted the photo after @dmartosko told me I'd gotten it wrong. Trump immediately hit back, quickly getting an apology out of Weigel - and demanded that the Washington Post fire him to boot.
It appears that Trump is indeed correct, the stadium was packed when Trump spoke.
"Very little discussion of all the purposely false and defamatory stories put out this week by the Fake News Media".
After announcing to applause that CNN was apologizing for its error, Trump said, "Oh thank you, CNN". Therefore, Weigel has no idea what time that particular photo was taken, and no one with any sense of ethics or concern for accuracy would judge crowd size based on any photograph without Trump standing at the podium.
"Trump wasn't satisfied, tweeting, ".@daveweigel of the Washington Post just admitted that his picture was a FAKE (fraud?) showing an nearly empty arena last night for my speech in Pensacola when, in fact, he knew the arena was packed (as shown also on T.V.). "Everyone knows this is not true, that this could, in fact, be a fraud on the American Public", Trump wrote on Twitter. There are many outlets that are far more trusted than Fake News CNN.
Trump referred to ABC News's Brian Ross as a "fraudster" on Friday, a week after he reported that Trump had directed his former national security adviser Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials during the campaign.
He has previously taken issue with reports over the size of crowds, notably following his inauguration ceremony, when his now deposed Press Secretary Sean Spicer accused journalists of reporting inaccurate numbers and using misleading photographs "to minimise the enormous support" he claimed Mr Trump has received at the January swearing-in.
