Bundle up if you're heading out: Wind chills below zero predicted today

Temperatures early Tuesday hovered near zero, and risky wind chill values below zero were expected to persist throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
A wind chill advisory is issued when dangerously cold wind chill values are expected. Wind chills will stay below zero all day with actual temperatures ranging from the single digits to the teens.
The NWS urges residents within the affected counties to bundle up in warm attire including gloves and hats.
Later on tonight, any cloud cover will fade like last night which will allow temperatures to tumble once again.
New Year's Day, when some hardy souls will be plunging into Lake George, is expected to have a high of 9 degrees. A few inches of very fluffy snow is likely by Thursday evening which will make things treacherous.
