Watch: Crowd gathers as Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan's coffin carried into Limerick church
Hundreds of people are attending the funeral of the 46 year old Cranberries singer who died suddenly last week.
O'Riordan's remains will be taken to St Ailbe's Church in Ballybricken on Monday night, ahead of her funeral, which is set to take place at 11.30am local time on Tuesday.
After two days of public mourning, her close family and friends will gather in a small rural church in Ballybricken to say their final goodbyes.
The service took place at St Ailbe's Church in Ballybricken, about 11km outside Limerick city centre and was led by Canon Liam McNamara, a family friend of the late musician. Her good parents (Eileen & Terry), her family, numerous relatives - NO they weren't proud, but very grateful to have such a special daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin.
O'Riordan was renowned for her distinctive voice and The Cranberries enjoyed huge success in the 1990s with tracks including Zombie and Linger. "May she rest in peace".
Archbishop of Cashel and Emly Kieran O'Reilly spoke in glowing terms of O'Riordan's legacy. We will miss her gentle voice, her lovely voice.
To those who were part of her life - Cranberries band mates (Noel, Mike, Fergal).
In his homily, Canon McNamara recalled meeting a young Dolores in 1989 when she was singing and playing keyboard in the church.
Coroner's officer Stephen Earl said O'Riordan was found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Hilton hotel in Westminster, London.
"Of course she was a superstar and an inspiration to so many people, not least from Limerick".
"Her gifts have resonated in the lives of many and will continue to do so as her music and her songs will continue to be played and listened to", he said. She met pope John Paul II in 2001.
Dolores" three children, Taylor, Molly and Dakota, were among the first to arrive and their father Don Burton - the singer's ex-husband and former Duran Duran tour manager - carried her coffin whilst the band's 1996 song "Miss You When You're Gone' played. While the singer passed away unexpectedly during a stay in London, police have said that her death is not being treated as suspicious. Family members among the mourners included her boyfriend Ole Koretsk, her mother Eileen and her siblings.

We need to stay in phase. "That's been a proven winning formula for a long time, so I think this week is a good test of that". We're 60 minutes away but at the same time, we've got to win those 60 minutes in order to get there.
