Deputy FBI Director Mc Cabe steps down report

Andrew McCabe, the Deputy FBI Director President Donald Trump has insisted for months must go, has finally chose to call it quits.

News reported he had enough accumulated leave to step down earlier, while CBS News reported he was forced out.

President Donald Trump did not answer a reporter's question at the White House about McCabe's departure.

"The president wasn't part of this decision making process", she added.

Sanders also said Trump continues to have "full confidence" in FBI Director Christopher Wray, who the president appointed to replace Comey.

Instead, the former official said, Mr. McCabe chose to leave.

Several Republicans also want to know what McCabe knew about anti-Trump text messages between two bureau officials, including one that seemed to reference an "insurance policy" against Trump winning the 2016 election. "The past several weeks and months have seen worrisome evidence of bias and wrongdoing at the Federal Bureau of Investigation come to light, including Peter Strzok's "insurance policy" that was discussed in 'Andy's office, '" he added. The texts reportedly provide proof that the FBI had a bias against President Trump, and that the Russian Federation investigation is also biased against the President.

"The news that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is stepping down is a step forward", said Gaetz.

Republicans have noted that McCabe's wife previously ran for a seat in Virginia's state Senate and received donations from then-Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a close ally of Hillary and Bill Clinton, the former president.

McCabe in particular has become a main target of those critics, who have accused the bureau of being too favorable toward Hillary Clinton in its investigation of her use of a personal email server while secretary of state. Days later, CNN reported that Priebus pressured McCabe to refute the Times report.

Earlier this month, the Washington Post reported that after Trump had fired FBI Director James Comey, he met with McCabe in the Oval Office and asked him whom he voted for in the 2016 election.

"We have seen the numerous reports as you all have seen", she said during the daily White House briefing.
