Toronto police update expected on investigation into accused serial killer Bruce McArthur

The 66-year-old McArthur is already facing murder charges in the deaths of Mahmudi and Kinsman. "There's even some ... occurrences where there's been a sudden death that we're looking at".

Police have said they found the dismembered remains of six people in large planters at the home of one of McArthur's clients in Leaside.

McArthur's alleged victims, from left to right: Selim Esen, Soroush Mahmudi, Dean Lisowick, Andrew Kinsman and Majeed Kayhan.

Toronto police say they have now found the remains of a total of six people at a property where alleged serial killer Bruce McArthur worked. Det. He did announce that the force would review its practices in missing persons investigations. After an excavation of the backyard did not lead to further discovery of human remains, Idsinga said the police investigation of the property may not yet be complete. Officers have also been combing through McArthur's central Toronto apartment for a month and expect to remain there for weeks longer, he added.

When asked how the two latest victims were identified, Idsinga said they used dental records.

Police charged McArthur with Navaratnam's death on February 23.
