Snow accumulations will range from a dusting to as much as 2 inches above 1500 feet. This system will have a lesser impact north and west of Sioux Falls.

Monday Night - Snow likely.

Chance of snow is 90 percent late this afternoon and 100 percent overnight.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS.Significant reductions in visibility are possible, with slick, snow-covered roads. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

The National Weather Service has posted another Winter Weather Advisory for most of Southwest Oregon. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

The storm will move out early Sunday morning, and as the day goes on the clouds will break and sunshine will begin the meltdown. As of 9:00 a.m. Friday, controls remain on mountain roads including Highway 50, I-80, SR-88, SR-89, SR-207, SR-431 and SR-28. Another storm system is taking aim on the Upper Mississippi River Valley Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening and includes Sioux Falls, extreme southeastern South Dakota, much of Minnesota, northwestern Iowa and eastern Nebraska. Like the snow that fell Thursday and Friday, this snow will be heavy and wet. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.
