Russia: British threats to boycott World Cup over spy attack hurt ties, sport
Sergei Skripal, 66, and Yulia Skripal, 33, remain in a critical but stable condition after being found slumped on a bench near the Maltings shopping centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on Sunday 4 March.
But a boycott is considered highly unlikely as it would put the FA on a collision course with global football governing body FIFA, whose regulations insist member national authorities must run the sport in their respective countries without "outside interference" from the government or any other parties.
Broadcasting regulator Ofcom issued a statement on Tuesday, following Prime Minister Theresa May's update on the investigation to parliament on Monday, and said it would wait for her next public comments on Wednesday before considering "the implications for RT's broadcast licences".
He told Press Association Sport: "It's not just MPs".
"Skripal's poisoning, for which the investigation has not even begun yet, is being used by British politicians to draw conclusions about Russia's involvement".
"Our priority for all England matches is to ensure the safety and security of the fans, players and staff". So now they want to "punish" us with a World Cup boycott.
SO it is suggested that we punish Vladimir Putin for boycotting the soccer World Cup.
"Serious questions are already being asked about participation in the Russian-hosted World Cup".
"FIFA is overall in charge of the global media accreditation process for the 2018 FIFA World Cup", football's world governing body said.
"Should England refuse to participate, followed by Poland, Japan, Australia, it will not be a weaker World Cup, their seats are likely to be occupied by those who took second place in the qualifying groups".
'Regarding administrative and diplomatic representation at this summer's World Cup, it is up to each country independently to decide on their attendance'. However, hecalled for calm and said they will only "hear the statements of Theresa May and the Minister of Foreign Affairs [Boris Johnson]".

A Wrinkle in Time review
Despite all my anticipation and love for Ava, " A Wrinkle in Time " settles at being merely good, when it could've been great. Too many young girls - including myself - grow up to be women who long to be someone or something we aren't.
