Daniels' lawyer won't detail evidence of affair

Donald Trump blasts 'fake news' on Twitter after porn star Stormy Daniels revealed 'affair' details in 60 Minutes interview

Basta Stormy Daniel's lawyer didn't break a sweat as he ran across New York City's Fifth Avenue on Saturday a day before his client is to appear on 60 Minutes

The suit, filed by her lawyer Michael Avenatti in California, came a day after CBS aired a tell-all interview with Daniels regarding an affair she alleges she had with Trump more than a decade ago, and which the White House continues to deny.

"It would make no sense for us to play our hand as to this issue and we're not going to do it right now", he said on NBC's "Today" show Monday.

"We don't have times yet only because we're still waiting to hear back, but it's confirmed she's coming", club manager Thom Naylor said.

In her interview, Daniels laid out the details and timeline of her alleged affair with Trump in 2006, in which she said the pair had unprotected sex and that Trump had compared her to his daughter Ivanka.

"And I was like, 'Ugh, here we go, '" she said.

"Yes, I'm getting more job offers now, but tell me one person who would turn down a job offer making more than they've been making, doing the same thing that they've always done", she said.

The sit-down with host Anderson Cooper was the most-watched episode since November 16, 2008, when then President-elect Barack Obama and Michelle Obama sat for their first post-election interview.

"I was in a parking lot", Daniels said, "going to a fitness class with my infant daughter ... and a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone".

Daniels said that before they had sex Trump had broached the idea of her being a contestant on "The Apprentice", and she likened it to a "business opportunity". Although Trump has opinions about Daniels appearance, Shah refused to confirm that he watched the interview. She then told him to turn around and drop his trousers - which he did - and she gave him a couple of swats.

Her story of an affair with Trump and hush money paid in the waning days of an election has shown resiliency while other scandals have come and gone, and now it is one of three court cases that could pose headaches for the president.

Brent Blakely, Cohen's attorney, dispatched a letter to Daniels' attorney on Sunday night accusing her of saying Cohen "was responsible for an alleged thug" who visited her in 2011.

A blog called the Dirty published what appears to have been the first report of an affair involving Daniels and Trump in October 2011.

During the first leg of her tour in January, Daniels told The Washington Post how the scandal had overshadowed her porn career as she peddled DVDs of her films.

Shah, asked whether Trump believed Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was threatened, said, "No, he does not".

Ms Daniels said of their conversation: "He was like, 'Wow, you - you are special".

However, Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti told "60 Minutes" he has documents showing Cohen using his Trump Organization email address in setting up the payment and that the nondisclosure agreement was sent by FedEx to Cohen at his Trump Organization office in Trump Tower.

"I am not at liberty at this time to respond in a point by point fashion", he said.

Trump would have been married to his wife, Melania, during both alleged relationships.

In March 1999, when Barbara Walters interviewed Monica Lewinsky on "20/20" about her affair with President Bill Clinton, an average of 48.5 million viewers tuned in, according to Deadline.
