McGregor couldn't make weight on six days notice says UFC president

UFC president Dana White revealed at a press conference ahead of Saturday's card at the Barclays Center in NY that McGregor's 155-pound championship will be up for grabs, with the Irishman having not fought in the Octagon since winning his belt in November 2016.

"There is a warrant out for Conor's arrest".

Michael Chiesa, who was also in the bus, was taken to hospital with a laceration to his forehead as a result of the chaos.

It was reported that the bus was taking a selection of fighters back to a hotel. The group through objects at the fighter bus which flew through the window.

The bout with Alvarez represents McGregor's last UFC fight. The attack was caught on video (via TMZ) and showed McGregor and his friends attacking a UFC tour bus that held a number of MMA fighters, including Khabib Nurmagomedov. "Broke one of the windows, cut Michael Chiesa real bad, cut his hand, cut his face".

Prior to Thursday, White had said McGregor would "100 percent" return to UFC in 2018.

We asked if Dana will fire Conor as a result of the incident and he told us, "This is bigger than us firing him".

Dana White has since commented on the situation.

In what has to be shocking news for the UFC, Conor McGregor and his entourage caused a lot of damage outside of a UFC media event, and one UFC superstar ended up injured.
