IPL 2018 Fantasy League SRH vs MI

Just three runs and two wickets off the over.

A 62-run opening partnership by Wriddhiman Saha (22) and Shikhar Dhawan (45) set up the reply as Hyderabad looked set to cruise to victory.

In overs 0.4 Deepak Hooda dropped Rohit Sharma (0) early in the innings, here Mumbai Indians 1/0. But Mumbai will be sweating in for the fitness of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, after he suffered a twisted ankle in the last game.

Suryakumar Yadav (28) and Kieron Pollard (28) staged a recovery before their team lost four wickets for 26 and were restricted to a sub-par total.

Sunrisers Hyderabad continued their ideal start to the IPL 2018 campaign as they made it two wins out of two with a last-ball, one-wicket victory over defending champions Mumbai Indians on Thursday.

Markande, who got the important wicket of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his 3/23 in the previous match, is now the leading wicket taker in this year's IPL with seven wickets from two matches.

After their first loss to the Chennai Super Kings, the Mumbai Indians were hoping to win their first match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

The lower middle-order caved in badly as Sunrisers looked as potent an attack even without their premier India bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

While, Mumbai Indians are known to be slow-starters in this marathon and filled with a wide array of stars.

Stanlake, Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul all took two wickets, while Adelaide Strikers teammate Rashid Khan proved impossible to get away with an astonishing 18 dot balls from his four-over spell.

The normally risky Evin Lewis (29, 17 balls) started off well but tried to hit Kaul across the line only to find the off-stump knocked back.

Skipper Rohit Sharma was out trying to whip a delivery from Billy Stanlake that grew big on him and the catch was taken at square leg by Shakib Al Hasan. His struggles were ended by Sandeep Sharma in the penultimate over.

Mustafizur Rahman chipped in with the priced scalp of Williamson (6) to rock SRH's chase further, and Markande did further damage by removing Manish Pandey (11) and Shakib Al Hasan (12) in quick succession. Sandeep then dismissed Suryakumar and Pradeep Sangwan off successive balls to ensure that MI don't cross the 150-run mark.
