Actor Ken Jeong reportedly helped a woman in his live audience when she required medical attention
Witnesses at a comedy club in Phoenix said Jeong jumped off stage to help a woman in the audience who appeared to be having a seizure on Saturday. It was such flawless timing: "Ken just jumped from the stage to help", says Holmberg, noting that the woman appeared to be having a seizure.
Jeong, an internal medicine practitioner turned Hollywood funnyman, cleared the area and attended to the woman alongside a medic who happened to be in attendance, Holmberg said in a Sunday tweet. An EMT in the audience also came quickly for assistance. "It was a moment where time stands still. There was a hush over the room", she told USAToday. She regained consciousness and was taken to a hospital. Upon hearing the commotion, Jeong first thought he was being heckled - but then leapt into action when he realized something was amiss, stopping his set and rushing to the woman's aid. "Great night! He is gracious and grateful".
Jeong often plays a doctor on TV and was able to use his real-life medical training to help the woman.
