Is Selena Gomez trying to tell Justin Bieber something with this new Instagram post?

A few seem to have questioned whether Selena's gown worked with this theme, but we have spotted a subtle message that shows she did pay homage to the dress code. And on this occasion, while preparing for the Met Gala red carpet, Selena went a little (okay, a lot) overboard with the fake tan.

The star looked stunning in her bespoke Coach gown at the prestigious event in NY, but something was a bit off about her look, namely the fact that she looked like Ross from friends when he couldn't contend with the tanning booth.

HA! Hey, at least she's able to laugh at herself!

Selena posted a video of her, in her Met Gala dress, walking, and then running away from the camera. But now that the drama has died down a little bit, she made a decision to respond to all the criticism by posting a silly video of her running through the streets of NYC in her Coach gown on Instagram.

Gomez related the short video to her own reaction to the photos from the event later on. The actress and pop star didn't exactly get glowing reviews as her skin color was compared to that of an Oompa Loompa's and Ross on "Friends" in the famous episode when he over-tanned.

Could it be that she was unhappy with her Coach gown? Their love story is still going on, or that is what their activities and Instagram post reveal. But her next red carpet appearance-tanned or not-will be telling.
